Automation in Dairy Farms: Milking Robots and Herd Management

Integrated herd management platforms centralize data on reproduction, milk production, and health to optimize treatments and culling decisions. The use of these technologies promotes traceability for export markets and reduces somatic cell counts through the early detection of mastitis. It improves milk quality and lowers costs through reduced milking effort. Furthermore, this technology allows farmers to remotely monitor all farm operations via mobile phone.
